Pune, where the University has its main office, is the historical and cultural capital of Maharashtra. It is also an educational capital. How to reach Pune:
Pune is well connected by rail, road and air to the major cities in India. It takes about 3 hours to reach Pune from Mumbai by the Expressway or about 4 hours by the Highway. One can take the Mumbai-Pune point-to-point State Transport buses (popularly known as Asiad buses) or point -to-point share taxi cabs from Dadar, Mumbai. There are frequent trains from Mumbai to Pune which takes about 4 hours. Pune is connected by air to Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa,Hyderabad and many other cities in India.
The University Office:
The main University Office is located in the ten-storey building known as Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, which is situated on the banks of the river Mutha in the Alka Theatre Chowk at the end of Laxmi Road. The building is an important landmark of the city.
