Programme Overview

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is a four-and-a-half-year undergraduate course that focuses on the integration of modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda. The students will also undergo a one-year internship in which they will be trained to diagnose and perform various medical and surgical procedures for the treatment of patients.

Programme Outcomes

Knowledge - Students will acquire comprehensive knowledge of the concepts and principles of Ayurveda and its medicinal, surgical and therapeutic aspects.
Clinical Training - During the course, the students will learn how to perform common diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic procedures.
Research - Students will learn the basic principles of research methodology and medical statistics.
