Sachin's enthusiasm for cameras ignited during his youth, leading him to earn a master's degree in communication with a focus on Video Production from the Department of Communication Studies at Pune University, after completing his undergraduate studies in Chemistry. He then worked for three years as a Promo Producer at Zee Network India. However, his true passion was in filmmaking, prompting him to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune.
Upon graduating from FTII in 2012, Sachin worked alongside esteemed cinematographers in the Indian film industry for three years. His diverse portfolio encompasses corporate films, documentaries, advertisements, and short films.
In addition to his practical experience in cinematography, Sachin has a keen interest in research and academic pursuits related to filmmaking, which has led to the publication of his papers in the following prestigious journals.

Sachin believes in passing the light of knowledge and experience to the newer breed of aspiring visual storyteller. He has conducted hands on cinematography workshops at various renowned institutions of Pune, like Symbiosis, VIIT, D.Y. Patil, to name a few before joining BVSP.
