Profile

MFA, Purdue University | Ringling College of Art & Design, USA | Geetanjali brings over 13 years of extensive international teaching expertise having taught at multiple premium higher education institutions including Ringling College of Art & Design, and Purdue University, USA. Additionally, she has taught at eminent Fergusson College, India. Moreover, Geetanjali brings over a decade of industry experience having worked previously in Mumbai and New Delhi in advertising, fashion, portraiture, food and editorial photography.

Geetanjali is a recipient of various prestigious national and international honours including UNICEF, Sinar, Nikon, Govt. Of Maharashtra Awards. She has presented at and attended various international conferences including American Culture Association Annual Conference 2007 Kansas and 2009 Detroit, Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design 2010 Ireland, National Academic Advising Association Annual Conference 2009 San Antonio, American Society of Media Photographers Seminar, New York and Tampa, USA.

Geetanjali joined Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Photography in 2023 on her return to India.

  • ‘Image and Text: Developing Postmodern Photographic Truth’, American Culture Association Annual Conference 2007, Kansas.
  • Photographic work has been published in leading national publications Bennett Coleman, Magna, The Times of India Group and Indian Express as editorials, advertising, fashion and food photography with prominent clients, models and support team.
