PCMC and Divyang Bhavan Foundation organized the State's largest event on Disability Inclusion called the PURPLE JALLOSH 2025 from 17 th to 19 th Jan 25 at the AutoCluster Exhibition Centre, Pimpri. BVDUCOA was a proud knowledge partner for this event.
A part of this noble event, was a SOLVATHON - Innovate for Inclusion - opportunity for students to work on the Inclusive solutions based on themes namely Architecture and Engineering/ Technology and win attractive prizes.
They were mentored by experts till the final jury.
Students were encouraged to participate and win attractive prizes and grab a chance to make social impact with their innovative ideas.
PURPLE SOLVATHON curated by BVDUCOA for PCMC Divyang Foundation at Purple Jallosh from 17 to 19 Jan was a great success with participation from more than 15 colleges across the city.
We are proud to share that 2 teams from BVDUCOA have bagged the 1st and 2nd Prize of 25 k and 15 k respectively. In a matter of 2 days, under the guidance of mentors, the participating teams developed from a problem to innovative solutions for Disability Inclusion in Engineering and Architecture category.
The winners were felicitated at the hands of Hon. GOVERNOR (of Maharashtra) sir and many have come forward to help students convert their POC to a prototype and then a startup.
BVDUCOA was greatly appreciated by DEPWD GOI and PCMC Commissioner for curating and conducting this competition efficiently as Knowledge Partners.
Our Principal, Dr. Kavita Murugkar was also invited as a panelist in the same event sharing stage with Mr. Shashank Paranjpe, Paranjpe Builders and was felicitated at the hands of DEPWD Chief GOI Mr. Rajesh Agarwal for the contribution to Divyang Foundation and Disability Sector.
