About SIH:
The Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is one of the largest hackathon events in India and is organized by the Government of India's Ministry of Education and other related ministries. The primary goal of the Smart India Hackathon is to encourage and harness the creative and technical skills of young minds in India to solve some of the pressing problems faced by various government departments and industries through innovative digital solutions.
About the Event:
As a part of SIH-2024, Institution’s Innovation Council of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University Department of Engineering & Technology, Navi Mumbai, took an initiative to conduct Internal hackathon on 2nd September,2024 (Monday) from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at Seminar Hall, BVDU, Navi Mumbai. The event started with inspiring words from Dr. Kamal Mehat, Vice Principal, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University Department of Engineering & Technology, Navi Mumbai who addressed the students and insisted on the importance of Smart India Hackathon 2024. It was a highly anticipated event aimed at fostering innovation and problem-solving skills among students. The event's primary objectives were to encourage creative thinking, collaboration, and the development of practical solutions to real-world challenges. It provided an excellent platform for students to apply their technical knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit.
