Leadership to Negative Complexity
The Faculty of Management Studies, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Navi Mumbai organised a 2-day workshop on “Leadership to Navigate Complexity”, on 12 and 13 September 2023, for the directors and senior professors from its campuses, across the country. The sessions were delivered by eminent Leadership Coach, Ms. Naina Sahni. Ms. Sahni has collaborated with MIT professor and writer, Dr. Peter Senge to discuss and deliver a session on one of his acclaimed books, “The Fifth Discipline”. In the workshop, Ms. Sahni explained the various tools that can be adopted by today’s learning providers and educational leaders to impart education which can enhance the employability of students. She discussed topics like Systems Thinking, Ladder of Inference, Core Leadership Capability Stool and helped the attendees to connect with them on a personal level, understand their significance and equip them to use these in their professional and personal lives. The engaging and thrilling event enlightened everyone, helping them reflect on the existing scheme of things in academia and corporate. The vivacious Ms. Sahni deeply inspired the audience with her words, compelling the audience to look within themselves to try and be the change they want to bring around and in them!
