Prof. Kirti Gupta is Director – IQAC at Bharati Vidyapeeth University and Professor In Management at - Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship Development, (IMED), Pune. She is a faculty in Research Methodology and Quantitative Techniques with 30 years of teaching and industry experience. She has been associated as a faculty with renowned management institutes in Pune including IMED, Symbiosis International University’s – SIBM and SIMS, HNIMR, PUMBA, TASMAC etc.

She has been actively involved in curriculum design and development at the university for almost twenty two years now. She has authored six books on research methodology and one on direct marketing. As Head of the Ph.D and Research Cell (2008-2018), and Chairman – Board of Studies (2015-2021), she has initiated several academic contributions to the university.

She is a research guide in Management Studies with areas of interest related to HRM and general management, Quality in Higher Education, women empowerment, workforce diversity, workplace spirituality, career transition and progression etc. Six students have been awarded their Ph.D., 3 have completed M.Phil, while seven students are currently working for Ph.D. under her guidance.

She is evaluator for Ph.D. theses at the Manipal University, Vishwesarya Technical University, North Maharashtra University and CSIBER, Kolhapur and on the research committees of SIU and MIT-WPU.

She has received funding from Indian Council of Social Science Research(ICSSR), Maharashtra State Commission for Women(MSCW) and Lilawati award from AICTE.

Dr. Gupta has the distinction of being selected as PEER REVIEWER for NIRF Peer Perception Survey. MHRD-NIRF on the basis of academic contributions to the field and experience for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Also, she has been awarded AIMS INTERNATIONAL WOMAN MANAGEMENT TEACHER AWARD 2018 by AIMS International, Houston, TX.

Recently under her leadership, IMED’s Digital Literacy team has been awarded the AICTE LILAWATI 2020 - First prize for the interventions carried out under Literacy theme impacting almost 2000 women and children.
