The institute conducted a Value Added Course for the students of BBA course from Friday, 23th February 2024 and Saturday 24th February 2024 on First Aid and Disaster Management. Sessions on Burns and bandaging, Bites, and poisoning, Minor health problems, Wounds, First aid box, Medical Emergencies, Cardiac Emergencies, Injury (Sprain, dislocation, and fracture), Disaster and its impact, Disaster management, Roles and responsibilities of disaster management team were part of the course. Faculty members from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Nursing, Sangli were facilitators for the course. Dr. Sunil Kulkarni, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Nursing, Sangli was the chief guest for the inauguration session. Dr. Pallavi Jamsandekar welcomed and felicitated the guest and the facilitators of the course. Dr. Jamsandekar explained the importance of value added course. In her speech Dr. Kulkarni talked on importance of first aid. Prof. Dexter Woodward, Head of Management Studies department and Dr. Sunil Kulkarni, faculty member, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), College of Nursing, Sangli were the program compellers and coordinators of the course.
