The Induction Program for the Academic 2024-25 batch of FY BPTh students began with an inaugural session graced by distinguished chief guest Hon. Dr. Nilima Bedekar & guest of honour Hon. Dr. Jitendra Oswal. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a tribute to Hon. Dr. Patangrao Kadam. Dr. Swati Bhise delivered a heartfelt welcome address, followed by an inspiring speech from Hon. Dr. Nilima Bedekar, who emphasized the significance of physiotherapy and the enriching nature of student life. Senior students Ms. Sandra, Ms. Ananya, Ms. Shruja shared their positive experiences at the School of Physiotherapy, and Hon. Jitendra Oswal, Deputy Medical Director of Bharati Hospital and Research Centre, conveyed his gratitude and extended best wishes to the new students. In the second session, Dr. Neeraj Athavale provided an overview of Bharati Hospital and its services to the students and their parents. Dr. Nilesh Andhare outlined the FY BPTh course and curriculum, while Dr. Chetana Kunde explained the Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics. Dr. Sharayu Atre introduced the teaching and non-teaching faculty members to the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anushree Narekuli, followed by a museum visit for the students and their parents.
