Achievements

• National Inter University Youth Festival-2024

National Inter University Youth Festival-2024 organized by Association of Indian University (AIU) and Cultural Ministry Govt. Of India hosted by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab. Around 106 Universities, 2000 Students participated in this Youth Festival. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University School of Performing Arts got 4 prizes as follows:

• Gold Medal for Folk Orchestra – Group of 12 Participants
• Gold Medal for Classical Instrumental Percussion – Suryakant Shinde
• Silver Medal Light Indian Music: Nandini Gaikawad
• Silver Medal for Folk Dance- Group of 10 Participants

• BVDU. School of Performing Arts got Overall Championship in the Youth Festival Organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed University).

Pakhawaj students of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University School of Performing Arts participated in a National level Competition named as ‘Pt. Nandan Mehta Shastriya Taal Vaadya Spardha’ and got all the 3 prizes.

• Gold medal: Swapnil Suryawanshi
• Silver medal: Dnyaneshwar Andil
• Bronze medal: Umakant Deshmukh

• 37th West Zone Inter University Youth Festival organized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

37th West Zone Inter University Youth Festival organized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) hosted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur.  Students of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University School of Performing Arts participated and got 5 prizes as follows:

• Gold Medal for Folk Orchestra – Group of 12 Participants
• Gold Medal for Folk Dance – Group of 10 Participants
• Bronze Medal for Classical Instrumental Percussion – Suryakant Shinde
• Bronze Medal for Light Indian Music: Nandini Gaikawad
• General Championship in Dance Group.

Student’s Presence in Film Industry-

• Sarang Kulkarni – Sarod – worked as Music Arranger for the film ‘Lampan’ and Background music composer for the Web Series “Heera Mandi’.
• Savani Ravindra- Vocal – Well-known playback singer in film industry recorded song for ‘Chandramukhi 2’. 
• Antara Nandy – Vocal – Recorded song for the film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘Raayan’ under the direction A.R. Rehman. Antara Nandy also recorded song for the film “Lampan’.
• Shamika Bhide – Vocal - Recorded her debut song for the film ‘Soyarik’. 
• Jidnesh Vaze – Vocal - Recorded song for a film ‘Vasantrao Deshpande’
• Omkar Ingawale – Tabla, Dholaki - Worked as Rhythm Arranger and Percussionist for the films ‘Pawankhind’ and ‘Sher Shivraj’.
• Ujwal Gajbhar – Vocal -Recorded song for a Film Atm Pamplet.

12 students got Scholarships for Music Education from NCPA and CCRT, Govt. Of India

Scholarship by NCPA- Aditi Koratkar (Vocal), Anuja Borude (Pakhawaj), Shubham Khandalkar (Vocal), Ninad Daithankar (Santoor), Sujit Lohar (Pakhawaj) and many more. CCRT Scholarship holders: Aditi Sharma (Kathak), Kasturi Joshi (Vocal), Antara Nandi (Vocal), Aishwarya Yardi (Vocal), Mayur Sakri (Vocal), Prajakta Uparkar (Kathak), Saurabha Gulawani (Tabla), and many more.

10 Students placed in Schools and Colleges as Teachers and Professors-

• Bhavik Mankad (Vocal-M.A. Music) joined as Asst. Professor in Parul  University
• Sonik Welingkar (Flute-M.A. Music) joined as Asst. Professor in Goa College of Music
• Vinay Mundhe (Tabla- M.A. Music) joined as Asst.Professor in MIT College.
• Rohit Kulkarni (Tabla) and Leena Ketkar(Kathak) joined as Asst. Professor in School of Performing Arts, BVDU.
• Kumar Dhokte (Tabla) and Ketki Ponkshe (Kathak) joined as Music and Dance Co-ordinator respectively in School of Performing Arts, BVDU.
• Srijaya Bhoumik (Vocal-M.A.Music) joined as Music Teacher in Inventure Academy, Bangalore.
• Chokheshwar Nakade (Percussion-M.A. Music) got a job as an Instrument Teacher in The Poona School and Home for Blind Trust
• Dhanashri Pipalwa (Vocal) joined as Music Teacher in Sanskriti International School, Bhugaon.

5 Students got Jobs in Nationalized Banks and Indian Railway -

• Ashish Zade (Harmonium-B.A. Music) got Job in Bank of Baroda. 
• Dattatray Kaldoke (Flute-B.A. Music) got Job in Bank of Maharashtra.
• Samina Shaikh (Kathak-B.A. Dance) got Job in Bank of Baroda.
• Rahul Kawade (Vocal-M.A. Music) got Job in Bank of Baroda.
• Praveen Hugar (Sitar-M.A. Music) got Job as Musician in Indian Railways at Dharwad.

07 students become UGC-NET Qualified- Aditi Koratkar (Vocal),Chintan Shelat (Kathak), Suja Dinkar (Bharatnatyam), Sai Mahashabde-NET with JRF(Vocal), Nikita Darekar(Vocal), Rohit Kulkarni(Tabla) and Mayur Sakri (Vocal)

• ‘Late Appasaheb Jalgaonkar SamvadiniVadak Puraskar’ by Gaanvardhan,Pune also awarded with Title-Swara-Laya-Ratn
• State Level “Aadarsha Mukhyadhyapak Vidyaratn Purasakar” by Manushyabal Vikas Lokaseva Akadami
• On the occasion of Centenary Birth Year of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Prof. Sharangdhar Sathe presented Harmonium—Shehnai Jugalbandi with Pt. Pramod Gaikwad. Falicitated by Cultural Minister Amit Deshmukh .

• Nagesh Adgaokar - Received Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Academy, Government of India.
• Anuja Zokarkar - Received Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Academy, Government of India and also awarded Grade ‘A’ by All India Radio, Prasar Bharati.
• Savani Ravindra – Received ‘National Film Award’ as Best Female Playback Singer’ for Marathi film ‘Bardo’.
