The Department has a well-qualified, vast experienced and very devoted faculty to supervise and guide students.The Department has a strong core curriculum complemented by electives in key emerging fields at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.The postgraduate program offers an innovative curriculum that provides students with outstanding training for a variety of career paths including careers in the Pharmaceutical & chemical industry, academia, medicine, education, research and government as well as other fields. The department updates curricula on a regular basis to ensure that the students keep up with the changing trends of education and research globally. All undergraduates, post graduates and Ph.D. students get full opportunity to participate in co-curricular, extra-curricular and social outreach activities leading to a holistic personality development. Every year the department is organizing various events like Seminars / conferences/ workshops/ Training Programme , Industrial visit, Guest lectures on various topics, Science exhibition etc. The alumni are important stakeholders and have provided generous support in different ways. The department is more focusing on sustainable development in Research and Innovation culture among the students.
