Geography is one of the major subject in our college. The geography course focuses on providing a wide range of opportunities to students in the civil service exams. Students who want to know about their surroundings, the story of their planet, the weather, the physical conditions and the natural resources can choose the geography course..Geography touches almost every aspect of our lives.Founder Member of the Department Pvt. Dr. S. R. Patil received funding through the UGC Small Scale Research Project, entitled: "Efficient Use of Resources for Sugarcane Cultivation in Walva Tehsil of Sangli District (Maharashtra)". The Department of Geography had organized a National Seminar on Resource Management for Sugarcane Cultivation in India. Our department was visited by various teachers and scientists.
