i. Overview :
The Department of Library & Information Science is a recognized centre for Ph.D. in Library & Information Science of the University. More than 13 students have completed their Ph.D. research till date and 04 students are working on their respective topics. The department always strives for creating conducive atmosphere for doing research. The seminars and conferences are arranged on vibrant issues from Library and Information Science to start the advanced thinking on the topics.
