Dr. Sharda Gadale is Assistant Professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed To be) University, Yashwantrao Mohite College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, working at Department of Chemistry.
Her current research interest in synthesis & applications of nanomaterials, green reactions and sustainable developments in chemistry. To her credit 56 publications in National and International journals, out of this 33 indexed in Scopus and web of science, 9 patents published (1US patent and 2 Indian patent granted), which has received citations of more than 650 & h-index of 13. Presented 39 papers in National and International conference in India and abroad, she has worked as coordinator for 04 national conferences and workshops organized by college. She has attended 20 webinars in online mode.
She is working as Coordinator for DST-FIST-2017 project which received grant of 95 Lakhs, and also working as convenor of Institution’s Innovation council, National Innovation and Start up policy, Research and Development committee, Criteria-III, PhD coordinator from college, Antiragging and prevention cell, Instrument maintenance committee and Women empowerment cell. Worked as member of staff academy, placement committee, admission committee, research and development cell of Erandawane campus. She has worked as chairman of board of studies in chemistry from 2011-2013, currently working as BOS member. She has been appointed as member by university on board of faculty of Engineering and Technology, and also working as BOS member of Chemistry at MES, Garware college, Pune. Working as external referee for Pre-PhD at SP Pune University, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune and COEP Technological University, Pune.
She is working in collaborations with Garware college, North Maharashtra University, SP Pune University, Pune and CSIR-NCL, Pune.
Reviewer of many International & National journals of Elsevier, Bentham, and Wiley and was editorial member of Asian Journal of Applied Science and Technology. She is life member of two academic societies- Indian Science congress and Society of Materials Chemistry, India-Pune Chapter
Six PhD students were awarded PhD degree under her guidance and four research students are currently pursuing their PhD work. 50+ students have completed MSc projects under her guidance.
