On behalf of the Department of Library & Information Science, Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Yashwantrao Mohite College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune was organized Two-day online National Workshop on 2nd and 3rd October 2021 on “How to Create Institutional Repository by using DSpace & Virtual Tools for Advanced Library Services were to be organized. The national workshop was inaugurated by Hon’able Dr. Gopakumar, former Librarian, Goa University, Goa. This time, he convinced the importance of the digital library. Hon’able Shri.Chetan Taksale, Director, Softech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Pune were present as resource persons for this workshop. The Chair Person of this function was Dr. V. A.Rankhambe, In-charge Principal. Welcome of this the event, the Coordinator of the Workshop and the Librarian of the College, Dr. M.L. Jamdade was done. A total of 98 librarians from 12 states participated in the workshop. In this workshop, the delivery came to training how to create an institution repository using open source software and how to use it.
