The B.A. in Filmmaking is our flagship undergraduate degree program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of filmmaking techniques, cinematic storytelling, and the collaborative process of film production. This one-of-a-kind program offers students the unique opportunity to specialize in one of five core areas of filmmaking - Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, and Production Design.
The curriculum covers various aspects of film production, including screenwriting, directing, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, video editing, set design, and post-production workflows. Students will work with industry-standard equipment like cameras, lighting systems, audio equipment, and editing software to create high-quality films.
Students will get hands-on practice through various activities like short film, ad film and documentary production, masterclasses, workshops, industry visits, film screenings, film festivals and internships.
The optional fourth-year specialization allows students to deepen their expertise in their selected specialization, with strong emphasis on research, further preparing them for higher studies or professional careers.
