PHD department offers to whole population means of preventing dental diseases and maintaining oral cavity with sound teeth and healthy supporting gums and bones throughout the life of an individual.

Highlights
  • Provision of primary preventive procedure to reduce the dental disease burden.
  • Conducting of regular dental screening camps for nearby remote and rural population.
  • Fully functioning TCC aiding in provision of various tobacco cessation related services.
  • Undertaking research projects under various forte of culminate research oriented behavior among undergraduate with various international publications to the credit.
  • Proving satisfied support to PG students and faculty for their research project.
  • Organizing awareness programs related to oral health and providing education for health promotion for the community.

Awards & Achievements

  • Dr. Tanushri Dalvi was awarded with “Best Outgoing Post-Graduate Student” in the specialty of Public Health Dentistry in RGUHS Examination for the year 2018.
  • Dr. Tanushri Dalvi received Best Paper Award at 24th National Conference of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry held at Hyderabad in November 2019.
