Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Institute of Management & Research (BVIMR), organised under the guidance & initiative of the Hon'ble Director, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, the “Author's Talk” by internationally acclaimed Scholar & Author Prof. Meir Statman, Glenn Klimek Professor of finance to Santa Clara University- Levey School of Business, California, USA, on his recent book: "A wealth of Well-Being–“A Holistic Approach to Behavioural Finance” on September, 23rd, 2024 through virtual mode. With the vision & insistence of Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal, this novel "Authors Talk" activity being conducted which aims to motivate students to cultivate a lifetime love of reading, extend their perspective on life, & get inspiration from creative intellectuals. The author Prof. Meir Statman, discussed his book & its major idea, theme, & instances, as well as superb research-based backing for his points. He explored how life well-being, the main aim of individuals in the third generation of behavioural finance, is underpinned by financial well-being, and how life well-being extends beyond financial well-being to family, friendship, religion, health, work, culture & education. In her address, Prof. Dr. Yamini Agarwal shared additional points, aspects & importance of the book that she discovered after reading the above-mentioned book from her perspective, in order increase others understanding.
