Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, celebrated the 77th Indian Independence Day on 15th August 2023, in the institute at 7.15 am. The main event of Independence Day celebration was the hoisting of the Indian National Flag, which was done by Dr. Revati Deshmukh, Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology. The flag hoisting was followed by singing of the national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana," an integral part of the celebration. All the gathered Faculty, Auxiliary Staff, Non-teaching Staff and Students sang the anthem with great pride and patriotism. The Interns sang patriotic songs along with melodious music by Dr. Priya Deo on the Synthesizer. This was followed by distribution of sweets amongst all.
