About Department

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Homoeopathic Medical College, Department of Homoeopathic Pharmacy was established on 16th August 1990.

The department is affiliated to the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, presently we are conducting the degree course in Homoeopathy as per curriculum viz. Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery [B.H.M.S.] since 1990; Post - Graduate course i.e. Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy M.D. (Hom.) in the subject i.e. Homoeopathic Pharmacy since 2006-07 onwards and Ph.D. (Hom.) since 2010-11.

The Department is functioning in about 110.25 Sq. mts. includes HOD room, Laboratory, Museum, Demonstration room, PG Discussion room etc.

The Herbal Garden

There is an Herbal Garden about 20,000 sq. ft. (1858.06 Sq. mtr.). Within the campus near the Institute. The herbal garden has maintained different species of medicinal plant. We take the student in the Herbal Garden to give knowledge regarding identification of the various plants.

Our Objectives

To promote the growth and development of Homoeopathic Pharmacy
To produce graduates, post graduates and Ph.D.’s in Homoeopathic Pharmacy;
To conduct experiments and develop patterns of teaching in under – graduate, post - graduate and Ph.D. education on various aspects of Homoeopathic Pharmacy.
To provide and assist in providing services and facilities for research, evaluation, training, consultation, and guidance related to Homoeopathic Pharmacy;
To conduct research on various aspects of Homoeopathic Pharmacy;

Experienced, Highly qualified & dedicated faculty. 
Industrial Visits are organised by the department annually for UG and PG students.
Industrial Training Program is organised annually for PG scholars under the activity of MoU in the Pharmacy.
HPL Visit: Educational visit for UG and PG is organized annually for the important part of the pharmacy i.e. Standrdisation of drug.
