“BVP has given me some of the best years of my life. It helped me gain friends for life, some lifetime experiences and most importantly a career to look forward in. It definitely helped me mold myself for good. Not only academics, but it also encouraged me to do extra-curricular activities. Initially when I joined college, I was not aware of how known it is in the outside world. But as soon as I passed out and started working, I realized how highly the BVP students are looked upon. This indeed gave me a different level of confidence. My faculties at BVP have done a great job at shaping me into a better person than I was. They put their hearts into teaching us and provided us with the best of their knowledge which certainly helped us achieve an edge over others. I believe it’s not just the studies that help you succeed in life but also doing some creative and additional stuff can bring in more opportunities. Keeping this in mind, in addition to studies, I also played volleyball and learnt German. I’m confident enough all of these things would help me prosper and specifically being a BVP student would help me achieve great heights!”
I completed my graduation in Bharati Vidyapeeth, School of Optometry, Pune. I really had a great experience with BVP because the quality of knowledge a student get from this college is amazing. Each and every student is trained so well that in future the BVPian is seem to be unique in every way. In Vision Express I'm getting so much respect because of my working skills (Refraction, Slit lamp, Retinoscopy, etc.). All credit goes to our teachers who taught us so well. So I feel like I'm so lucky to be a part of our institute and will achieve heights in our carrier and make everyone feel proud.
“Overall the experience of Optometry was really good...I enjoyed learning about new things every day. During my bachelor's, I've been to many eye camps, taken part in and attended many Conferences held at different places, and presented a Case Report at the 12th Shree Naval P Baliwalla scientific conference on Oculocutaneous Albinism- A low vision management during my internship period. One of the best experience at BVP was the model presentation done in by us in the 3rd year based on the Binocular vision. It was really great coming out of our comfort zone and doing something interesting. The practical’s we did everyday were really helpful in our daily life. The fresher’s Party, all the days celebrated were really amazing. And last but not the least all the professors are really great, kind, consoling and really really helpful. They've helped me at each and every stage and made me a better person. All the presentations done during the course have given me a lot of confidence to express my views in front of a huge crowd. “There is no doubt that Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Optometry provides excellent classroom education, but what truly sets BVP apart from similar professional schools is the knowledge and practical exposure the students gain in 3 years of classroom program and 1 year internship program. Throughout my 4th year of optometry training, I had the opportunity to directly evaluate numerous patients. BVP is truly a place to be where theory and practical go hand in hand with the right blend of support from experienced faculties. I have completed my bachelors from this college and now I am pursuing my masters in optometry where I am learning to become a better researcher and learning various clinical aspects of optometry and I feel very fortunate to call myself a proud BVPian.”
