National Service Scheme (NSS)

At Poona College of Pharmacy, NSS orients the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution by providing them platforms to involve like Winter Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Pulse Polio vaccination Drives, Awareness Rallies, Disaster Management Workshops.

Sports

At Poona College of Pharmacy, different sports activities are conducted throughout the year. A box cricket league (on the occasion of national sports day), PCP sports week and pharmacy cup cricket tournament (state level) are the main events organized by the college. Along with that students also participate in inter-college tournaments at national level.

SKiiLD PCP

“SKiiLD (Skill Knowledge incubate innovate Learning & Development) PCP” Incubation Centre under Institute Innovation Council (IIC) is established to impart skills, support and provide resources to nurture students and faculty innovators and entrepreneurs for facilitating healthcare start-ups

ISPOR BVDU Student Chapter

ISPOR BVDU student chapter is a student chapter under International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). Under this various activities like guest lectures, health camps, competitions and social activities are conducted.

AICTE Spices

Jagrukata aur Paramarsh PCP Club under the AICTE sponsorship scheme for promoting interest, creativity and ethics among students (SPICES) is established to spread awareness about medicines in the community along with inculcating value based education and ethical practices in students.

Bharati PCP Sakhee

Bharatri PCP Sakhee team aims for betterment of women’s health in both, rural and urban girls along with their professional grooming and empowerment. This team was bestowed with AICTE “Lilavati Award 2020” under the category ‘Women Health’ as first runner up with Rs. 75,000/- Prize
