Programme Overview

D.M. (Cardiology) is a three-year postgraduate super-speciality programme that will provide the students with knowledge regarding the disorders of the human heart and the methods of diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery diseases, heart failure and more. The programme will focus on training the students to become competent specialists in both the public and private sectors.

Programme Outcomes

Theoretical Knowledge - Students will acquire theoretical knowledge regarding the cardiovascular system that will benefit and help them to become competent medical specialists.
Clinical Skills - The programme will train students to perform relevant clinical examinations and devise the appropriate treatment and management plan to help them.
Research - Students will learn how to use research literature and methodology to help sustain their investigation and diagnosis.
