Programme Overview

M.D. (Anesthesiology) is a three-year postgraduate programme specializing in training students in the field of anesthesiology. In this programme, the students will be able to learn the different processes of delivering anaesthesia to patients under various situations. The students will also study various concepts of physiology and anesthesiology and experience hands-on training to prepare them for their careers.

Programme Outcomes

Theoretical Knowledge - Through the programme, the students will be able to have a good in-depth knowledge of basic sciences as applied to anaesthesia.
Building of Skills - Students will be trained in operating different procedures related to anesthesiology so that they can analyze and provide assistance in surgeries and other operation theatre procedures.
Research - The programme will also allow the students to build their research skills so that they can build their knowledge and learn how to analyze research literature.
