Programme Overview

M.D. (Physiology) is a specialized three-year post-graduate programme that studies the normal biological functioning of the human body and covers the concepts related to physiology. Students will study the basics of physiology and actively participate in clinical and research training so that they are well prepared for their career prospects.

Programme Outcomes

Effective Knowledge - The students will be dive deeper into the theoretical knowledge required to know the basic physiological mechanisms of the body with reference to their implications in the pathogenesis of diseases (pathophysiology) and their management.
Learning Research Skills - Through the programme, the students will be trained to conduct experimental and research skills to help them excel in patient care.
Build Interaction Skills - Physiology is a subject where students need to have good communication skills. Through the programme, the students will be taught how to acquire effective interaction skills using workshops/seminars/clubs and more.
