RGI has become a part of my life since I joined the institution. In the beginning, I had absolutely no path to go forward in my academic career. As time progressed, RGI facilitated me to understand the value of the course, as well as my own worth in it. The academic environment and the freedom to experiment with my thoughts and ideas provided by the esteemed faculty in the institute helped me to develop strong foundation for the course. Possessing well-equipped and maintained laboratories as well as high-quality research being pursued by the faculty, the institute provided every kind of resource that I needed to learn about the field of biotechnology. The provision of extra-curricular activities including annual fests, cultural as well as sporting events through various committees imparted me an all-round development and helped me to recognize my own skills and talents. The field trips and industrial visits conducted by the institute provided me a practical exposure to the application of the theoretical concepts in the real world. The faculty members are more than mere teachers, they are like parents to me. They are ever-ready to discuss any issue that a student might have, be it professionally or personally. This opinion of mine may appear to be sugar-coated, but the fact is that it isn't. I am currently pursuing my Master's in a premier nationalized institution wherein I have interacted with students from across the country. And I am proud to say that none of them has had a better overall experience during their Bachelor's than that of me. In fact, most of them did not receive any laboratory experience during their graduation. Therefore, I believe RGI is one of the best institutions in the country to pursue a graduation in biotechnology. I shall always be grateful to all the teachers, students, as well as the non-teaching staff members of RGI for all the help, lessons and guidance that they have given to me to build myself, both in my career and as an individual.
Currently PhD (International Max Planck Research School- Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, Bad Nauheim, Germany) Post Doctoral Researcher (Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen,Germany). The RGITBT Institute has provided me the access to the scientific community. It was here that I developed the strength and courage to envision myself having a successful scientific career, not just in INDIA but also internationally. The curriculum and practical knowledge imparted to students at RGITBT are among the best I've seen. My journey began at RGITBT, and it has been fantastic thus far. Thank you to the RGITBT teachers and staff.
Graduated with a M.S. in Biotechnology from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 2022. Northeastern University is one of the top 10 universities in the U.S. for graduate degree in Biotechnology. While pursuing the Masters degree, worked as a Project Management intern at 2 biotech start-ups in the Boston area. Following the internships, did an 8-month long co-op with the New Product Planning team at Fulcrum Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on developing therapies for rare diseases. Currently pursuing a Healthcare Finance certification from MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in Boston while working full-time as a Strategy Consulting Analyst at a leading Healthcare Consulting Firm. “The training at RGITBT equipped me with the knowledge to pursue higher degrees in Biotechnology and work in some of the leading companies in the world making significant impact to the healthcare landscape. I am thankful to the support and dedication of the faculty at RGITBT in making sure the students succeed at what they do.
My journey in RGITBT has been a special one. RGITBT faculty is extremely supportive, positive and knowledgeable. Curriculum is designed in such a way that students learn a lot of practical experimental setups which helped me in my Masters as well. Currently I am a final year M.Sc student from NIT, Durgapur, West Bengal and I recently qualified CSIR-UGC NET with 129th rank. I intent to pursue PhD in future.
It's a great institute for biotechnology, you will get lots of lab exposure with high class education with highly qualified faculties. Apart from academics RGITBT provide cultural fest, educational tour, sports, national competition and science expo. You will get managerial skill too by becoming CR of the class, it's up to you. RGTIBT also have NSS (national service scheme) department which provide you root level experience to education, self development, selfless service, and volunteer work. There will be 1 week NSS camp for NSS members ina village where you get the great experience. Over all it was a great journey here. Thank you RGITBT

The curriculum in RGITBT prepared me to accomplish my career goals and become an enthusiastic scientist.The faculty are true advisors and have really mentored me throughout my educational journey.It has been a privilege to be part of this institute.

I received my Master's degree in Bioinformatics from RGITBT. This institute has provided the best learning and research facilities in the field of bioinformatics. This department's entire faculty is excellent and specialists in their respective fields. Throughout my time there, I received wonderful direction and assistance. I will always appreciate the memories I made during my college years.
My journey from studying at RGITBT until now working as a biotech professional has been a roller coaster ride! Post completion of my master's degree, I got an opportunity to work in my dream company (rather many biotech aspirants dream company), "Biocon". The learnings and guidance I got at RGITBT has helped me alot to achieve my dreams ! All thanks to my professors for giving me the right education and more importantly imparting the right problem solving attitude, which has helped me come a long way in my career.

It was a nice informative journey. The teachers have always supported and guided us towards what's right for our future. Even during the pandemic there were a few rough patches but we all with each other's cooperation overcomed them all.
