The patients are clinically evaluated and prescribed relevant investigations as warranted.
24 hrs emergency services are provided to ANC patients for normal delivery/caserean section.
There are a lot of opportunities for a postgraduate student to learn. The grand rounds are epic and filled with brainstorming questions that help in developing the diagnostician in you .We also get a lot of hands on experience on elective surgery such as Hysterectomy, tubal ligation, myomectomy, and laproscopic surgeries. We are also senstized to various super speciality department such as ART, High risk obstetrics, oncology. Regular reaching classes, PGps, perinatal and maternal mortality audits etc. are also carried out.
We are also given a chance to actively participate in research activities which helps to keep us updated with the new guidelines. The teachers and mentors helped me to improve my academic and interpersonal skills.

During my post-graduation course of 3 years, I have worked under the guidance of all senior staff members due to whom i am able to provide proper healthcare services to female population of the society. Apart from the knowledge of the subject, all the teachers in the department have inculcated me with the qualities which are required for becoming a good doctor. Due to adequate number of cases, I was well trained in managing high risk mothers as well as performing difficult operative procedures.
Reproductive medicine , fetal medicine, gynaecology oncology and laparoscopy departments are the parts of obstetrics and gynaecology department which has given me opportunity to utilise these facilities for managing different problems in the life of a female.
