PSP INTRAPORAL RADIOGRAPHY CENTRE:

PSP technology enables rapid image acquisition and manipulation, streamlining the diagnostic process and enhancing workflow efficiency. With its high resolution and dynamic range, PSP images provide detailed visualization of dental structures, aiding in the detection of caries, periodontal disease, developmental abnormalities, and other oral pathologies.

Furthermore, PSP intraoral radiography offers patients a more comfortable experience, thanks to its reduced radiation exposure compared to conventional film-based systems. PSP intraoral radiography represents a cornerstone of diagnostic imaging in the Oral Medicine and Radiology department. Its versatility, efficiency, and patient-friendly features make it an invaluable tool for clinicians in the accurate assessment and management of diverse oral health conditions.

CBCT CENTRE

Nestled within our oral medicine and radiology department, our Cone Beam Computed Tomography [CBCT] Center heralds a new era in dental diagnostics. With its advanced technology, we offer:

  • 1) Precision Diagnosis: CBCT imaging provides detailed, three-dimensional views of oral structures, ensuring accurate diagnoses of complex conditions like impacted teeth and bone lesions.
  • 2) Tailored Treatment Plans: By visualizing both hard and soft tissues, our CBCT scans enable personalized treatment plans for procedures such as dental implants and orthognathic surgery.
  • 3) Patient Safety: With lower radiation doses compared to traditional CT scans, our CBCT Center prioritizes patient safety without compromising diagnostic quality.
  • 4) Efficient Workflow: Rapid image acquisition and processing streamline our diagnostic process, allowing for prompt interventions and improved patient care.

Incorporating CBCT technology into our practice elevates the standard of dental care, empowering clinicians to deliver precise diagnoses and tailored treatments for optimal patient outcomes.

OPG CENTRE

OPG CENTRE:

The Orthopantomogram (OPG) centre in our Oral Medicine and Radiology department is a crucial facility for comprehensive dental imaging. Equipped with advanced OPG technology, it provides panoramic views of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures in a single image. At the OPG centre, clinicians benefit from the panoramic overview, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment planning of various oral conditions, including caries, periodontal disease, impacted teeth, jaw fractures, and developmental abnormalities. The comprehensive visualization of dental arches, bone density, and TMJs enables tailored treatment plans for each patient. The imaging process is quick and minimally invasive, involving the patient standing or sitting while the OPG machine rotates around their head, capturing the panoramic image in seconds.
