Located on the ground floor opposite the OPD, the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, is committed to delivering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of oral health conditions. We specialize in the early detection and management of oral diseases, including potentially malignant disorders and oral cancer.
Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technologies, including Orthopantomography (OPG), Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Radiovisiography (RVG), and a PSP Intraoral Reporting Section, enabling precise diagnosis and treatment planning. We handle an average of 400 OPD patients daily, ensuring efficient care for every patient. Additionally, we operate a dedicated Tobacco Cessation Centre providing specialized counseling and support for individuals looking to quit tobacco use.
We also maintain a comprehensive clinic, designed to offer faster treatments for patients while giving students a unique learning experience, allowing them to manage cases from diagnosis to treatment under one roof. Our separate Radiology Unit emphasizes patient safety through advanced radiation protection, especially for vulnerable individuals.
Our department also manages extensive OPD data and regularly participates in community outreach by organizing No Tobacco Day awareness events.
