Operation Theatre Complex

 


Facility Uses
Minor Surgery Section Used for performing minor oral surgical procedures such as extractions, biopsies, and small soft tissue surgeries in a controlled, sterile environment.
Operation Theatre Equipped for major oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including trauma care, jaw surgeries, and other complex procedures requiring advanced anesthesia.
Dedicated Implant Centre Specially designed for dental implant placement, offering advanced tools and sterile conditions for precision and successful implant surgeries.
Dedicated Library Provides access to specialized oral surgery literature and resources for faculty, residents, and students to support research and continuous learning.
HOD & Staff Rooms Designated areas for the Head of Department and staff members to conduct administrative duties, consultations, and collaborative discussions.
Seminar Room Used for academic sessions, case discussions, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing learning and professional development.
Sterilization Room Ensures all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections during surgical procedures.

Tooth Extraction Removal of decayed, damaged, or non-restorable teeth.
Wisdom Tooth Removal Surgical extraction of impacted or misaligned third molars.
Maxillofacial Cysts and Tumors Diagnosis and surgical management of cysts, benign and malignant tumors in the jaw and facial region.

Orthognathic Surgery Corrective jaw surgery to treat misalignments and improve function and appearance.
Submucous Fibrosis Surgical intervention for oral submucosal fibrosis to restore mouth opening.
TMJ Ankylosis Surgery to release a fused temporomandibular joint and restore normal function.
Ridge Augmentation Bone grafting to increase the height and width of the alveolar ridge for dental implant placement.
Cleft Lip and Palate Surgical correction of congenital cleft deformities in the lip and palate.
Tissue Biopsy Collection and analysis of tissue samples to diagnose oral lesions and pathologies.
