Welcome to the Department of Public Health Dentistry at our esteemed dental college. Our department is dedicated to improving the oral health of communities through education, prevention, and outreach.
At the core of our efforts is a commitment to community service. We regularly organize dental camps to provide free oral health check-ups and treatments, reaching underserved populations and promoting awareness about the importance of oral hygiene. These camps allow our students and faculty to connect with the community, offering much-needed care and preventive advice.
In line with our vision of sustainable oral healthcare, we have proudly adopted 10 villages, where we provide ongoing dental care and education. This initiative enables us to make a lasting impact on rural populations, addressing their oral health challenges and contributing to their overall well-being.
Our department is also equipped with a dedicated dental van, a mobile dental unit that allows us to extend our services to remote areas. The van is fully equipped to offer a range of dental treatments, ensuring that even those in hard-to-reach locations receive quality care.
Through these initiatives, we aim to bridge the gap between healthcare access and oral health needs, while giving our students invaluable practical experience in public health. We are proud of our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many, and we remain committed to expanding our outreach and improving the oral health of the communities we serve.
Warm regards,
Dr. Suyog Sawant
