National Library Day program was observed in BVDUIHMCT, Pune by offering floral tributes to Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, Father of Library Science, by Principal Dr. Lalita Chirmulay, Librarian Ms. Smita Mane, and faculty members.
On this occasion, students and all Library staff were present.
A formal welcome address was given by Prof Amar Chavan. He highlighted some of the important contributions of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan towards the development of Indian Librarianship and the library movement in the country.
On this occasion, a General Knowledge Quiz Competition was conducted. Winners were awarded Certificates.
