Short-Term Training/Internship for External Undergraduate and Graduate Students at IRSHA
IRSHA offers Short-Term Training Program for external students who wish to complete their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis or dissertation. Following are the details of the training:

Students from disciplines like life sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology and pharmacy (not restricted to these disciplines) will be considered for the training.

Students can join the Institute at any time after obtaining permission from the Director, IRSHA.

Students are required to apply directly (via email) to the faculty of their interest with an updated resume.

Students shall submit a recommendation letter from Head of the Department/Head of the Institute from their college/university/institute indicating the requirement of training and duration as necessary for the fulfilment of their degree.

Master’s students will be offered training for a period of not less than 6 months and up to 1 year, while Bachelor’s students can join for a period between 3 months and up to 6 months.

Under the guidance of the supervising scientist, students can utilize infrastructure, consumables and research facilities at IRSHA.

Masters students will be required to pay fee of Rs. 5,000/- per month for the training period and Bachelor’s students will be required to pay fee of Rs. 2,500/- per month for the training period.

Upon successful completion of the program, IRSHA will grant a certificate to the students to fulfill their degree requirements.

Students who are absent for more than 10 days during the training period without informing their supervisor may be ineligible for receiving a completion certificate.

No publication will be submitted without permission from the Director, IRSHA.
