The new CBME curriculum developed keeping in view the general practitioners, have suggested many changes in the teaching of undergraduates. I am proud to state that all my staff put up hard work to ensure that all the changes suggested by NMC are covered ensuring proper understanding of the students.
With disciplined teaching for PG students, we have a track record of placements of most of our PG in pharmaceutical industry and by now, some are holding key positions in the Industry.
We encourage research at UG and PG level. Apart from many publications coming out because of this, we have a track record of our UG projects getting selected by ICMR for summer fellowship. Staff is also actively involved in planning and execution of many research projects.
We are involved in many extension activities- GP training, giving services to hospital like drug store management, pharmacovigilance, participation in antimicrobial stewardship programme, etc.
