Achievements

Even major and two minor research projects completed.
UGC sponsored Career Oriented Certificate Course started for UGC students for five consecutive years.
Creating awareness about conservation of forests (as natural bio-resources) and environment among students at large scale through nature club activity.
Botanical study tours and field work arranged in every year for students which helpful for exposure of student to nature, forests and marine flora.
Continuous training arranged for environmental monitoring to researchers.
Management of waste material (Kitchen garden) done in the campus-by Vermi-composting method.
Every year arranged training to students about mushroom cultivation.
Development of nursery in botanical garden to train the students.

1. Department has received Rs. 69,71,200/- amount during 1995-2022 from UGC, MOEF and NMPB agencies.
