Achievements

Being the oldest department in the territory, college alumni have excellent representation in various fields right from government administration, politics to renowned educationalists.
We are proud to put it on board that the mayor of the Pune Municipal Corporation Hon’ble Mr. Murlidhar Mohol is commerce alumni.
Many of our students have represented the college and university in national and international level sports such as taekwondo, cycling, wrestling and kabaddi etc.
Five teachers of the department have received “Best Teacher Award” by Pune Municipal Corporation.
Department has excellent placement record with placements in renowned corporate houses such as KPMG, TCS, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Barclays, Infosys etc.
All of our faculty members are representing Board of Studies as chairman’s or as members in commerce at various autonomous institute and universities in the state of Maharashtra.
Till date department has received research funding of Rs 10,33,000 from various agencies.
Every year department invites renowned industry experts for guest lectures and interaction with students to provide industry orientation to students.
Department regularly organizes brainstorming session through alumni-students’ interactions. In these sessions alumni share their experiences with students.
