Becoming a Partner

The Office of International Affairs exclusively manages collaborations with partner and non-partner universities, working in close consultation and coordination with the Principals and Directors of Colleges/ Institutes within BV(DU)'s constituent units. When any delegation visits BV(DU), discussions regarding collaborations with partner and non-partner universities should be directed to the Director of the Office of International Affairs at BV(DU).

The initial stage of establishing a collaboration involves the signing of a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The Office of International Affairs oversees agreements that do not impose legal obligations on BV(DU), its faculty, or staff members in terms of hosting students or faculty from partner universities. For any exchange programs, the financial aspects are meticulously planned in collaboration with the Director of the Office of International Affairs and the respective representatives from the partner university.

The Office of International Affairs plays a pivotal role in facilitating the creation of new partnerships or renewing existing ones by orchestrating the necessary MoUs, which are subsequently forwarded to the Registrar's Office.
